Job Title: Sales Development Representative - Half Day (Remote)
Location: Fully Remote (South Africa-based candidates encouraged to apply)
Hours: 9am – 6pm UK (Monday to Friday)
Salary: Basic + Commission (Dependent on Experience)
Start Date: Within 30 days
About the Role
As an SDR (Sales Development Representative), you'll be actively generating qualified
meetings with prospective clients who match our ideal customer profile.
Key Responsibilities
- Own top-of-funnel outreach: identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospects
- You'll be responsible for cold calling and general outbound activity across different territories globally in order to generate sales pipeline.
- You'll be responsible for managing inbound leads that are generated by our Marketing team
- Run outbound campaigns across LinkedIn, email, and other creative channels
- Work closely with the founder to experiment with messaging and iterate quickly
- Book meetings and, where necessary hand over high-ticket prospects to our CEO
- Responsible for selling and passing through new sales to the delivery team
- Track activity and performance, using insights to improve outreach
- Help define and build the SDR workflow as the business scales
- Experiment with new tools like prospecting tools, automations, CRM addons, email drip campaigns, LinkedIn plugins etc.
- Work with the marketing team to create lead magnets and drive inbound email enquiries
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years' experience within a SDR or similar role (BDR, GTM, prospecting, outbound sales, etc).
- Quick learner. You'll get up to speed quickly with new tools and work out your own intelligent ways of working.
- Perseverance. You'll be happy trying multiple contact routes with strategic follow-ups.
- Attention to detail. You'll use a CRM to maintain accurate records of who you've contacted, what they said, and when to follow-up.
- Excellent written skills. You'll be a clear communicator who can write compelling, concise messages.
- Ambitious self-starter. You'll be proactive, goal-focused, and self-motivated.
- Not scared to jump on the phone, you will be expected to cold call
Hardware Requirements
- Computer or laptop with stable performance.
- Reliable ADSL/Fibre internet (minimum 50 Mbps).
- Headset compatible with VOIP systems.
- Anti-virus installed.
- UPS/Backup power for load shedding.
