Job Description
Optimi is seeking a proactive and professional Legal Administrator to join our Legal Team. The ideal candidate should be highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while meeting tight deadlines. They must have strong attention to detail, a commitment to confidentiality, and be able to communicate effectively across departments.
REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12
Paralegal qualification
LLB qualification (advantageous)
2–3 years post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm and/or corporate legal environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
DUTIES
Organise, maintain, and archive legal documents both digitally and physically.
Ensure information is backed up and stored in accordance with company procedures.
Provide timely access upon request.
Assist with audit preparation.
Compile necessary documentation and maintain accurate B-BBEE records.
Manage the ticketing system, track queries, and ensure effective stakeholder updates and resolutions.
Draft and review contracts and NDAs.
Liaise with departments to ensure consistency and compliance.
Support tracking and documentation of compliance with internal and external regulations.
Serve as the liaison for legal queries, ensuring clear and effective communication across teams.
Provide legal research, administrative assistance, and general support to the legal team.
This position is based in Centurion.
