Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Support the CDO and Director of Business Development in developing, refining, and executing the organization's business development strategy and growth priorities.
  • Translate high-level goals into detailed operational plans, milestones, and performance indicators.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and benchmarking to inform strategic decisions and identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Execute on strategic initiatives from CDO and Director of Business Development

Operational Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Business Development Department, ensuring smooth execution of internal processes and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain operational dashboards, reporting mechanisms, and performance metrics.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and scalability.

Project & Program Management

  • Lead and coordinate key strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives under the CDO's purview.
  • Establish project timelines, deliverables, and success metrics while ensuring accountability across teams.
  • Monitor progress, assess risks, and ensure timely delivery of objectives.

Performance Tracking & Insights

  • Develop and maintain frameworks to measure the success and ROI of development initiatives.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform decision-making.
  • Support annual and quarterly business reviews with performance analysis and reporting.

Executive Support

  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports for the CDO and senior leadership.
  • Represent the CDO in meetings or working groups when appropriate, ensuring decisions and initiatives move forward effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Strategy, Economics, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or program management—preferably in a development, growth, or fundraising-focused environment.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, , Smartsheet).
