Backend Genie is a growing U.S.-based automotive services company working with car dealerships across the country. We are expanding our remote team in South Africa and are hiring a professional, detail-oriented sales and marketing agent to conduct market research, gather information, and set meetings.

This position is fully remote, requires strong English communication skills, and offers long-term stability and growth potential.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to U.S. automotive dealerships from a provided list
  • Ask structured questions to understand dealership offerings
  • Gather and document data accurately in our system
  • Follow a call framework while maintaining natural, professional conversation flow
  • Meet daily and weekly call volume and data-quality targets
  • Participate in ongoing coaching to continuously improve call quality

Requirements

  • Excellent English communication (clear and professional)
  • Experience working with a CRM
  • Comfortable making outbound calls
  • Strong listening and note-taking skills
  • Reliable high-speed internet and quiet work environment
  • Able to work U.S. business hours

Steller candidates will have

  • Experience conducting market research calls, customer surveys, or information-gathering calls
  • A natural sense of curiosity and the ability to ask thoughtful follow-up questions
  • Automotive industry experience
  • Experience setting sales meetings

Compensation

  • R18,000–R36,000 per month (based on experience)
  • Monthly performance incentives up to R6,000
  • Paid training
  • Long-term, full-time role with growth into more advanced outreach responsibilities

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • 40 hours per week
  • Aligned with U.S. business hours (EST/PST)

Pay: R18 000,00 - R34 614,00 per month
