Job Description

HR Intern – ITC Hospitality Group (Cape Town)

Start Date:
 January 2026 | 
Part-time, 3–6 months
 | 
Monthly Stipend:
 R5000

About the Role:

ITC Hospitality Group is looking for a motivated 
HR Intern
 who is 
currently studying Human Resources
 and is required to complete a 
logbook
 for their studies. You will work directly with the 
Human Resources Supervisor
, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of HR in a 
small, fast-paced hospitality environment
.

This is an excellent opportunity to apply your HR learning in a real-world setting and gain practical experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with 
    recruitment
    : job postings, CV screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
  • Support 
    onboarding
    : preparing employment documentation, conducting induction sessions, and maintaining employee files
  • Perform 
    HR administration
    : data entry, filing, updating records, and generating reports
  • Assist with 
    HR projects and initiatives
     as assigned
  • Complete a logbook
     documenting tasks, learning outcomes, and reflections for academic purposes

Requirements:

  • Currently 
    studying Human Resources
  • Must be required to 
    complete a logbook
     as part of your studies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong 
    communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain 
    confidentiality
     and work independently
  • Proactive and willing to learn
  • May rotate across various departments
     to understand HR's role and its importance in supporting different business functions

Human Resources Supervisor
