Duties & Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities:

·       Plan and coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse team through an optimised operational structure, agreed job descriptions and established measures of success.

·       On a daily basis analyse operational execution results, understand the reason for deviations and action corrective measures in a collaborative manner

·       Continuously develop and drive strategies in collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders to achieve all required performance indicators

·       In conjunction with the national optimisation team investigate and study leading edge solutions to further improve performance results and maximize customers service experience

·       Ensure adherence to OHS ACT, BCEA legislations and use the company's disciplinary guidelines as a medium to drive improved results

· Ensure that the company is professionally represented by its ambassadors (warehouse staff relevance) through training, dress code rules and other relevant interventions

· Nurture a mature and motivated staff complement through continuous training and engagement forums, interacting with staff at all organisational levels

· Build a collaborative relationship with the regional and national sales teams to ensure the relationship drives the company's customer service objectives with a mature ability in finding the balance between customer service and a highly cost and efficiency driven environment

·       Build and maintain sustainable relationships with all customers to ensure warehouse efficiency measures and cost achievement results are at optimal levels

· Manage and control warehousing cost through daily analysis, weekly and monthly performance measurements and management reporting

·       Monitoring and management of product storage, and waste (losses, obsolescence, dumps,

·       and related costs)

·       Ensure customer service excellence by storing and loading quality products through proper

cold chain management.

·       General site maintenance and housekeeping

·       Statistically analyse movement per SKU to optimize storage locations and warehouse utilization / efficiencies

·       Conduct studies/review to improve overall operational efficiency

·       Develop and review standard operating procedures for your area

·       Ensure export requirements are met and non-conformances communicated

·       Ensure re-supply stock are managed and order requirements are met

·       Ensure assets are maintained and accounted for at all time
