**Role Description: Business Development Representative (Technology or Engineering Division)
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bedfordview, Gauteng.**
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll play a key role in driving new business for Braeven's clients within your assigned division — Technology or Engineering. You'll be responsible for identifying opportunities, building relationships, and converting interest into qualified leads and meetings.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Conducting research to identify new business opportunities and target markets.
- Engaging with decision-makers via email, LinkedIn, and phone.
- Setting up and attending meetings to present client solutions confidently and persuasively.
- Collaborating with internal teams to build outreach strategies and tailor pitches.
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and tracking outreach performance.
- Representing Braeven and our clients professionally in all engagements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3–6 years' experience in sales, business development, or a related client-facing role.
- Proven ability to sell or promote technology, software, hardware, or engineering solutions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and market research capability to identify and qualify opportunities.
- Highly organized with strong time management and follow-up discipline.
- Confident in leading or participating in client meetings and product discussions.
- Valid driver's licence and own vehicle (required).
- Professional appearance and the ability to represent clients in external meetings.
