Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Retail & Ticket Office Manager, located in Durban. The responsibilities include overseeing daily operations of the retail and ticketing office, ensuring excellent customer service, managing office administration tasks, and maintaining office equipment. The manager will also liaise with customers, process ticket sales, handle inquiries, and provide administrative support to ensure smooth operations.

Key Performance Areas (KPAs) / Responsibilities:

  • Lead operations of the Shark Cage Retail Store and the Sharks Ticket Office
  • Increase merchandising revenue through retail and online sales strategies
  • Managed and trained a team of permanent and casual match-day staff (+/- 40)
  • Oversee budgeting, financial strategy, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Implement robust control systems to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Develop and maintain the online retail store
  • Lead match-day vending operations and marketing initiatives
  • Manage stock take processes, customer grievance resolution, and annual audits
  • Project managed seasonal memberships campaigns

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    BCom Accounting, Retail Management, Business Management
  • 5- 10 years' experience in
    retail operations, merchandise management, or ticket office administration
    ,

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong understanding of
    stock control, financial reconciliation, and customer service management
