What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like:
You will act as an ambassador for Sigma Connected, living its values and promoting a culture of inclusivity, accountability, and continuous improvement across all People activities. You will deliver day-to-day People operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, changes, leavers, and data updates, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will maintain and govern People systems (HRIS, ATS, benefits platforms), oversee promotions and job changes, and ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and governance processes.
You will manage Freshservice operations, resolve queries, monitor data quality, and produce regular reports and analytics to inform decision-making. You will provide first-line support to employees and managers, assist in employee relations cases, and lead consultations on change programmes such as TUPE and redundancy, ensuring documentation, calculations, and governance are accurate.
You will contribute to continuous improvement by streamlining workflows, automating reporting, and enhancing system efficiency. You will support audits, statutory reporting, and compliance checks, including right-to-work verification and GDPR/POPIA requirements. You will prepare evidence packs, maintain org charts, and oversee the archiving of employee records. You will schedule training, track completion, and drive engagement with People systems, while collaborating with Payroll, Talent, and the People Systems Architect to deliver a seamless employee experience. You will build trusted stakeholder relationships, support policy and process updates, and participate in cross-functional projects.
You will manage your workload with compassion and diplomacy, escalate issues when necessary, and ensure all People activities align with Sigma's values, policies, and legal obligations.

I display strong HR administration and audit skills and have the required experience or qualification in my field and apply my knowledge and skills with a pragmatic approach, always considering both people and commercial impacts. Requirements:
- You have a minimum of 2 years HR experience in the BPO industry in either UK or SA covering the complete employee lifecycle.
- You have proven experience of HR administration in a fast-paced dynamic environment driving data integrity and positive employee experience.
- You have experience of using HR information systems including providing reports to stakeholders.
- You have an exceptional attention to detail and have proven experience of ensuring data integrity.
- You ideally have experience of leading or supporting in TUPE/Redundancy UK processes or equivalent SA S197/S198 processes.
- You thrive under pressure in a change orientated environment.
- You have a tertiary level qualification in HR or a related field/ or have relevant experience.
- You have a solid understanding of local employment legislation, employee relations and industrial relations.
- You have proven experience of leading on audits and driving data integrity in systems.
- You understand Employee Wellness and effective implementation of such initiatives.
- You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to nurture strong working relationships with peers, stakeholders, and your team.
- You are accountable, analytical and driven.
- You are passionate about continuous improvement with proven experience of designing and supporting on the implementation of CI initiatives.
- You are an out of the box thinker with a collaborative approach.
