Aetherbloom is committed to empowering women across South Africa through skills development, employment-readiness training, and opportunities for economic independence.

We’re looking for a passionate Social Media & Content Volunteer to help us amplify the impact of our work, from training to transformation and raise awareness about the opportunities Aetherbloom creates for women every day. This role is ideal for a creative, community-minded individual who wants to use their voice and digital skills to drive change.

**What You’ll Do**

Content Strategy & Planning
- Collaborate with the team to shape monthly content calendars for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Align social media content with our training schedules, campaigns, and events.
- Help shape a digital presence that is powerful, inclusive, and inspiring.

Content Creation & Event Capture
- Create graphics (using Canva), reels and posts that reflect the work we do and the communities we serve.
- Attend occasional local events to take photos, capture behind-the-scenes footage, and gather real stories.
- Promote our partners, supporters, and collaborators to build awareness and credibility.

Publishing & Community Engagement
- Schedule posts using Meta Suite or similar tools.
- Respond to comments and DMs, helping us maintain a warm and professional tone online.
- Share live updates during key events or campaigns.

Insights & Improvement
- Track post performance (reach, engagement, growth).
- Provide insights that help us refine our content and deepen our reach.

**You’ll Thrive In This Role If You...**
- Are passionate about women’s empowerment, equity and grassroots change.
- Enjoy social media and storytelling.
- Know how to use Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to drive engagement.
- Can create simple designs in Canva and write thoughtful, clear captions.
- (Bonus) Are comfortable attending events and capturing content in real-time.
- (Bonus) Have an interest in non-profit marketing, impact reporting, or digital campaigning.

Pay: R1,00 - R2,00 per year
