**Reporting To The**:Manager: Exhibitions and New Events

**Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:
**Supplier Management**
- Research suppliers based on Operations Brief received from Manager: Exhibitions and New Events, this includes:

- Venue.
- Audio Visual (AV).
- Stand builder.
- Freight.
- Other (i.e., interpreters, bags, dinners).
- Ensure all supplier quotations are in-line with the line-by-line budget.
- Update exhibition floor-plan.
- Send regular updated programmes and floor-plan changes to suppliers.
- Ensure all items needed for the event is packed and ready to go before the event.

**Registration Management**
- Open and design new event registration types.
- Ensure daily and weekly registration reports are accurate as per the prescribed requirements.
- Train registration team pre-event.
- On-site registration Management.
- Ensure registration is set-up and is working effectively on-site.

**Exhibition and Sponsorship **Fulfillment**
- Draw up the Exhibitors and Sponsors information pack.
- Ensure Exhibitors and Sponsors checklist are always up to date.
- Telephonic contact to all exhibitors and sponsors 7 days after sending out of the exhibition manual.
- Ensure relevant e-newsletter items are send timeously to clients based on the timelines.
- Regular contacts with exhibitors to ensure contractual agreements are met.
- Telephonic contact all exhibitors and sponsors 30 days before an event to ensure all fulfillment needs are met.
- Regular contact with the sales team to ensure the understanding of what was sold to the clients.
- Assist exhibitors and sponsors during move-in and break-down.
- Ensure rooms are set-up according to the Workshop Programme.
- Manage all on-site logistics together with Manager: Exhibitions and New Events and where changes are necessary to improve the quality of the event.

**Minimum **Qualifications and experience required**:

- Matric (NQF Level 4).
- Must have a three year National Diploma in Events Management or Tourism or a three year associated Diploma in Hospitality (NQF Level 6).
- At least five years’ experience delivering operational services for large scale trade and consumer exhibitions.
- Must have a valid Code 08 Drivers' License.
