**About the Position**

The Executive Manager: Regional Operations (Region 2) is responsible for delivering on the Entity’s mandate, strategic objectives and the Enterprise Development and Support Programmes at a regional level through effective planning and execution of its strategy and Programmes. The Enterprise Development and Support Programmes’ core objective is to improve the competitiveness and sustainability of enterprises by enhancing their productive capacity and operational efficiency throughout the business lifecycle.

**To be considered you need the following - Education Qualifications**:

- Minimum_:

- Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering/ Operations Management **or** Master’s degree in Business Administration coupled with Honours degree in Industrial Engineering / Operations Management
- Certificate in Project Management (portfolio of evidence required)
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
- Advantageous: _
- Doctorate qualification in Industrial Engineering/ Operations Management

**You will be a great fit if you meet the following requirements - Professional Experience**: At least five (5) years’ experience in a Senior Management position within an economic and operational business environment, with related experience in:

- The economic/business consulting services and implementation of socio
- economic and industrialisation policies aimed at promoting decent employment and productivity, with a view to inclusive and sustainable growth and development.
- Facilitating discussions involving stakeholders and strategic partners with diverging interests.
- Developing and implementing business and operations strategy.
- Developing and implementing Strategies for Business Turnaround and Recovery including measures required to save an organisation from business failure and return it to operational normality and financial solvency.
- Developing and implementing continuous business performance improvement / development strategies aimed at further improving the performance potential of existing enterprises.
- Managing the allocation and utilization of resources (both people, financial and infrastructure& Equipment) within the Region and providing feedback related to the execution of all regional projects.

**What will you be doing**:

- ** BASIC FUNCTIONS/Key Performance Areas (KPAs)in relation to s32 read together with 7 of the Employment Services Act with a focus on**:

- Translating organisational strategies and Provincial Growth and Development Strategies into Productivity SA Regional Operations Plans related to the Enterprise Develop and Support Programmes (CIS and BT&R and related Programme Interventions).
- Monitoring implementation of the Enterprise Development and Support Programmes (CIS and BT&R and related Programme interventions) and evaluate overall impact thereof by gathering, analysing and interpreting data and metrics.
- Financial Planning and develop plans and programmes to ensure organisational financial sustainability, including reviewing financial information and adjust operational budgets to improve service delivery and organisational sustainability.
- Human Resources Management including human resources deployment, recruitment, staff performance, training and development, employee relations, change management etc;
- Promote productivity culture and mindset, as well as accountability thereof at Provincial and sector, and enterprise level
- Establish and manage stakeholder and strategic partnership relations, including provision of support to Collaborative Enterprise-based Productivity Forums (Future Forums) to promote workplace collaboration and democratisation
- Enhancing Productivity-related programmes, tools, techniques and support infrastructure including budget, processes and resources to promote best operating practices and enterprises competitiveness through the Proactive Solutions.
- Liaise with Strategic Business Unit Executives to make decisions for operational activities and set operational goals.
- Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation.
- Review the efficacy of Standard Operating Procedures and make recommendations for improvement and implementation.
- Design and monitor rollout of public awareness campaigns and programmes to promote the programmes and services of the entity;
- Contribute to the development and manage measurement systems to review talent acquisition effectiveness and attract and retain high
