Medical Aid rate based on principal member only) - To be confirmed - Advert Closing Date - 2/11/2025 - Job Purpose To raise funds from government sources, including state-owned entities. - Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience - BTech or Bachelor's Degree in fundraising, marketing, communication, public relations management, business administration or relevant qualification. - At least 4 years of experience in fundraising, especially from government sources. - Driver’s license - Willingness and ability to make national and international travel. - Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities - Fundraising, including proposal writing and funding negotiation - Customer relations management - Project conceptualisation and management - Project budgeting and reporting - Funding opportunity search and report writing and presentation - Competencies - Good funding proposal writing skills - Good project conceptualisation skills - Negotiation and presentation skills - Report writing - Formulating, meeting and exceeding targets - Thorough knowledge of the international funding community - Thorough knowledge of the development co-ordination in a university environment - Knowledge of creating project budgets and financial reports - Computer literacy: Ms Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint - Good oral and written communication skills - Good interpersonal skills - Problem solving - Ability to use judgment and discretion in making complex decisions - General Information **Closing Date**:2 November 2025 **NB: PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS SYSTEM DOES NOT ALLOW APPLICANTS TO UPLOAD CVs.
