B-bbee Verification Analyst

B-BBEE Verification Analyst will be performing verification audits for clients. Utilise expertise in B-BBEE compliance, client relationship management, and technical analysis to guide clients achieve transformation goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1.Perform B-BBEE Verifications**:

- **Conduct B-BBEE verification audits for clients in line with the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice, including sector codes and the company’s verification methodology.**:

- Interpret, verify, and communicate all elements of the B-BBEE scorecard, with the exception of complex ownership structures.**2.Client Relationship and Communication**:

- **Conduct meetings independently, building strong client relationships and ensuring effective engagement.**:

- Proactively collaborate with clients before onsite visits to explain the verification process and gather required information.
- **Clearly communicate verification plans, handle client objections, and address challenging questions during the verification process.3. Data Collection and Documentation**:

- **Follow up with clients regarding outstanding documents, referencing, and indexing files in alignment with company policies.**:

- Document, analyse, and verify all relevant information and evidence to ensure accurate score calculation.
- **Maintain updated project statistics and progress daily to meet deadlines and client expectations.4. Report Preparation and Quality Control**:

- **Produce verification files and reports to a high standard, summarising conclusions for sign-off with the Technical Signatory.**:

- Prepare B-BBEE certificates and final reports based on verified data, and manage files according to regulatory standards and company methodologies.**5.Project Management and Team Collaboration**:

- **Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring processes are completed within project targets and deadlines.**:

- Collaborate with the team and management to deliver optimal solutions and maintain a high standard of service.**6. On-site Reviews and Risk Assessment**:

- **Conduct on-site reviews, workshops, and meetings as necessary to assess client compliance.**:

- Identify and assess risks and opportunities, suggesting strategies to clients to help improve B-BBEE compliance.**Attributes, Skills, and Competencies**:

- Analytical Skills**:Exceptional attention to detail and analytical ability, with a solid understanding of financial statements.**:

- **Interpersonal and Communication Skills**:
Ability to communicate complex B-BBEE elements effectively with clients and team members, handling objections and complaints professionally.
- Technical Knowledge**:Deep understanding of B-BBEE Codes, sector codes, and verification practices, with the ability to calculate preliminary scores and produce accurate reports.**:

- **Project Management**:
Strong organisational skills to manage projects, track progress, and meet client expectations within required timeframes.
- Risk Identification**:Ability to assess risks, verify evidence, and identify opportunities for improvement in B-BBEE compliance.Qualifications and Experience**:

- Educational Background**:Bachelor’s degree in finance, auditing, or a related field. B-BBEE verification certification is advantageous.**:

- **Experience**:
2-3 years in B-BBEE verification, compliance, or auditing, with hands-on experience in managing client engagements.
- Proficiency**:Advanced knowledge of B-BBEE legislation and SANAS requirements, as well as skills in calculating B-BBEE scores and interpreting regulatory guidelines.**

Pay: R15 000,00 - R18 000,00 per month
