**Junior Food Production Line Supervisor/Junior Factory Supervisor**
Head Office: Waterfall KZN
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Ensuring and maintaining a safe work environment
- Preparation of workplace/department schedules to meet production output.
- Assigning responsibilities to production employees
- Ensuring safety and compliance:_**Maintaining**_ a _**safe**_ working _**environment**_ and _**ensuring**_ compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements (employees are trained on all procedures relating to safety, production and quality applicable to the environment in which we operate in)
- Compiling Production reports for management
- Managing the repair or replacement of faulty production equipment
- Recruiting, training and coaching of employees.
- Receiving/Recording/Managing of raw materials for the production line.
- Communicating effectively to ensure complete transparency/ clarity and understanding of the desired outcome for both production staff and management.
**Experience/Qualifications**
- Min 3-5 years’ experience Production Line/Manufacturing supervisory experience
- Sound knowledge and experience of traceability systems
- Extensive experience of label compliance within the retail environment on a finished food product.
- Excellent understanding of layout/floor planning within the food production industry.
- Computer literacy: Mandatory (proficient in excel)
- Understanding of machinery and basic maintenance will be advantageous.
