Junior Field Technician Position

We are looking for a Junior Field IT Technician to deliver the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.
- Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
- Tie workflow to schedule
- Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
- Offering technical assistance on the delivery, configuration, set up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, hardware, and software.
- Training computer users.
- Carry out review and evaluation of problems between machines and host network at customer locations and resolve them effectively
- Ensure that hardware nodes used for machine communications to the cloud are correctly configured; also provide hardware and software support
Technician Requirements:
- Possess Associate’s degree in Computer Science or its equivalent qualification
- Possess one years or more experience working in information technology environment
- Possess Network + Certification or equivalent knowledge/experience
- Proven ability to be effective working in a team
- Strong knowledge and understanding of basic networking concepts, computer systems, hardware, and software, including IP Addressing/subnetting/protocols.
- Strong communication skills to effectively pass strategies, ideas, problems, and solutions to customers and co-workers in writing and verbal
- Willingness and ability to travel to various customer sites when necessary to fix their issues
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Waterfall, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- Certificate (required)
**Experience**:
- Field/IT: 1 year (required)
License/Certification:
- Network + Certification or equivalent knowledge/experience (required)
