Accounts Payable Manager

**Overall Purpose of the Job**: You will be accountable and responsible for the management of the day-to-day activities of the Accounts Payable department in addition to ensuring timeous payments are processed, by the Accounts Payable department, to all vendors for work provided or services rendered to Fidelity ADT (Pty) Ltd within contractual payment terms.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Management of the day-to-day activities of the Accounts Payable Department
Ensure timeous payments are processed to all vendors by the Accounts Payable Department
Ensure accurate records and reports are maintained by the Accounts Payable Department
Ensure that the Accounts Payable Department objectives are met and that SLA’s are adhered to
Monthly review of AP Ageing
Ensure that GRIR items are kept at a minimum by the Accounts Payable Department
Ensure that Open PO items are kept at a minimum by the Accounts Payable Department
Ensure that all Accounts Payable Department escalations are resolved timeously
Develop, implement and maintain systems, policies and procedures to ensure adherence to company guidelines
Develop metrics for tracking performance of the Accounts Payable Department
Ensure adherence to company Levels of Authority
Maintenance of Vendor Master file
Negotiating with vendors to receive Settlement Discounts in order to increase company profit
Accurate reporting of monthly Settlement Discounts obtained
Ensure that company Cost Savings are achieved by the Accounts Payable Department
Working closely with Procurement Department to ensure that company Cost Savings are achieved
Automating manual Accounts Payable processes
Provide guidance and support to Accounts Payable Department
Motivation of Accounts Payable Team in order to achieve company objectives
Management of Disciplinary procedures of Accounts Payable Department
Conduct Bi-Annual Performance Review of Accounts Payable Department
Ensure smooth AP Audit
Ensure all staff trained with AP Standardised Training Manuals
Ensure OHS standards are maintained in relation to staff a safe environment for staff.
Ensure efficient and accurate filing and archiving of all relevant AP Documentation
