North West, Rustenburg (Market related, Negotiable) We are recruiting a SIB Program Management Officer for North West Rustenburg Core Output of the vacancy

To provide execution support to the SIB Project Manager on all construction matters to execute projects safely, on time, within budget and to a satisfactory level of quality

Experience, Skills and Knowledge

5 years relevant practical experience in Construction Management (discipline specific) in Mining/Processing

Good people skills

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Ms Project

**Qualification**:
Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science and a

Recognised (section 13 or 26) Engineering Tradesman qualification or

Diploma / Degree in Construction Management

**Key Tasks of the vacancy**:
Project selection

Obtain SIB project opportunities from clients

Initiating

Set up and initiate projects according to the SIB Project Management Guideline and Investment Development Method to ensure successful project executions

Planning

Attend Risk Assessments and HAZOPS

Contribute to quantitive risk assessments

Assist with the verification of the scope and specifications

Executing, Monitoring and Controlling

Assist with the site inspection meetings for tenderers

Participate in bid clarification meetings

Assist with tender evaluation and adjudications

Conduct quality inspections

Manage daily site dairies from contractors

Manage issues during construction

Manage incidents during construction

Hand over and Close out

Arrange hot commission with the client

Assist with hot commissioning

assist with training

Ensure the red line drawings of all changes to plant are recorded

Hand over critical spares to operations

Hand over final hand over certificate

Safety, Health and Environment

Attend daily toolbox talks on site

Ensure that site team conduct Risk assessments for construction activities

Ensure adherence to site specific SHE Requirements

Conduct Safety Meetings with the Safety Offices to ensure compliance

Governance

Manage project delivery according to SIB project management office policies, procedures and systems

Manage project audits with regards to policies, procedures and systems
