Job description and responsibilities
- **Leadership**: Manage, lead, and motivate the aftersales team, which may include service advisors, technicians, and other support staff.
- **Strategy and performance**: Develop and implement aftersales strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- **Financial management**: Create and manage departmental budgets, control expenses, and ensure profitability targets are met.
- **Operations**: Oversee daily operations for service, parts, and warranty departments. Ensure compliance with all manufacturer standards and company policies.
- **Customer relations**: Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve issues promptly. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- **Staff development**: Conduct regular training and development programs for the aftersales team to ensure they meet brand and performance requirements.
Qualifications and skills
- **Education**: A degree in business, marketing, or a related field is often preferred, though professional experience is also highly valued.
- **Experience**: Professional experience in sales or after-sales is essential.
- **Leadership**: Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong interpersonal skills.
- **Analytical**: Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and metrics.
- **Problem-solving**: Exceptional problem-solving skills to handle customer and operational issues.
- **Technical**: Proficiency with relevant software, including dealer management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
- **Personal attributes**: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
Pay: R20 000,00 - R35 000,00 per month
