**Job Title: Administrative Assistant for a Financial Advisor in Pretoria East**
**Job Summary**: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team as a key support role for our insurance brokerage.
This role involves managing paperwork, communicating with clients and insurance providers, and assisting the broker in various administrative tasks.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Documentation Management**:
- Organize and maintain client files and records.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation.
- **Client Communication**:
- Act as a liaison between clients, insurance carriers, and the broker.
- Handle client inquiries and provide timely and professional responses.
- Schedule and confirm client appointments.
- **Policy Renewals and Updates**:
- Monitor policy renewal dates and initiate the renewal process.
- Communicate with clients to obtain necessary information for renewals.
- Update client records with new policy information.
- **Administrative Support**:
- Provide general administrative support to the insurance broker.
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and other documents.
- Schedule meetings and manage the broker's calendar.
- **Claims Assistance**:
- Assist clients in filing insurance claims.
- Communicate with insurance providers to track and expedite claims.
- Maintain records of claims and follow up on claim statuses.
- **Policy Issuance and Endorsements**:
- Process policy issuances and endorsements accurately and promptly.
- Verify policy information for accuracy before issuance.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant education is a plus.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Language: Fully Bilingual in Afrikaans and English
