**Overview**:
Our client a dynamic progressive fresh produce marketing and processing company is looking for a Operations and Quality Management Intern.

**Responsibilities & duties**:

- Setting up the Procurement Admin
- Suppliers that needs to be loaded on system.
- To manage communication with suppliers.
- Data capturing.
- Assist in follow up activities.
- Acting as a funnel for queries.
- General admin.
- Data and reporting.
- Creation of PO’s (Purchase Orders).
- Following up on PO’s.
- Supplier onboarding (contacting, document requesting, following up on outstanding requests, saving of documentation on central network etc).

**Desired Experience, skills & Qualification**
- Honours degree in Logistics/Supply Chain/ Operations Management.
- Computer Literate - MS Office - especially Excel
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Process (beneficial)
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Highly organised
- Time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work with teams
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills

**Job Type**: Internship
Contract length: 12 months

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kempton Park, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Honours (required)

**Experience**:

- Microsoft Office: 3 years (preferred)
- POS: 1 year (preferred)
- Operating systems: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Afrikaans (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Drivers licence (required)
