Our client, a law firm based in the heartland of South African innovation in Stellenbosch, have a permanent full time position available for an Attorney at Associate level in the Intellectual Propertyl law team.

The team works in a flexible work environment, with liberal remote working and flexitime arrangements.

Remuneration will be market-related, dependant on the skill and experience of the successful applicant.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Admitted attorney in good standing with the LPC with 3 to 5 years relevant post-qualification experience.
- Good working knowledge of company law with ability to draft corporate documents for commercial transactions.
- A strong interest and curiosity in corporate transactions, company legislation and related fields.
- A strong technical ability, solid drafting skills and clear communication style.
- Ability to work independently and be a team player.
- Conscientious, reliable, motivated and a self-starter.
- Detail-oriented and accurate.
- Ability to work under pressure at times.

**Beneficial Qualifications, Experience or Skills**
- Any other complementary qualifications or experiences (e.g. LLM).
- Good word processing and other technology skills.
- Some IP litigation experience.
- Some commercial IP experience (drafting licencing agreements, assignment agreements, etc.).
