**Description**:
We are looking for an Associate level Attorney to join the Intellectual Property team of a dynamic Law firm in Stellenbosch. The firm offers a flexible work environment, with liberal remote working and flexitime arrangements.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Admitted attorney in good standing with the LPC in South Africa with post-qualification experience in the field of intellectual property, notably trade mark prosecution.
- Fellow of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law.
- Genuine interest, good knowledge and sound understanding of intellectual property law, notably in relation to trade marks and related case law.
- Ability to work independently and be a team player.
- Conscientious, reliable, motivated and a self-starter.
- Detail-oriented and accurate.
- Ability to work under pressure at times.

**Beneficial qualifications, experience or skills**:

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Any other complementary qualifications or experiences (e.g. LLM).
- Good word processing and other technology skills.
- Some IP litigation experience.
- Some commercial IP experience (drafting licencing agreements, assignment agreements, etc.).
