Our client is a well established and reputable law firm based in the heartland of innovation in Stellenbosch.

They are looking for a mid-level IP litigation associate with a particular (but not exclusive) focus on the management of national and international trade mark dispute matters. The role further includes advisory work, running with disputes and management of related IP fields including copyright, domain names, company name objections, watching services and drafting of IP agreements (assignments, license etc).

To be considered for this role you will have the ability to work individually and as part of a team giving pro-active and timely advice with a commercial and client led approach. The successful applicant will be someone that can think creatively and find solutions to any problem - even when there is no tried and tested answer.

The remuneration will be market-related, depending on the skill and experience of the applicant.

Minimum requirements to apply:

- Admitted attorney in South Africa
- At least 3 years relevant, post-qualification experience (including specifically experience in litigious trade mark matters)
