Craft Beer Sales Consultant

Managed People Solutions is looking to fill a Craft Beer Sales Consultant role within a well-known Liquor company based in the Gauteng area.
Duties
- Call cycle management and achievement of sales volume and targets.
- Negotiation of new keg / can / bottle supply or draught installations within Gauteng.
- Implement promotions, promotional and point of sale placements at restaurant and select bottle store level.
- Implement and execute promotional activities. These could be at events, website or other strategic sales outlets.
- Develop a relationship with key bottle stores and venue managers/owners, informing him/her of promotions and stock availability and at all times ensuring that the in-store stock cover is adequate to ensure 100% availability at all times.
- Research and Develop a list of preferred key locations where product should be available.
- Develop and grow existing outlets and restaurants.
- Discuss stock, the rate of sales and negotiate displays and pricing.
- Engage with existing and new customers to understand trends, needs and deliverables to enable them to move our product.
- Events on weekends and evenings, from time to time. The core team do this but sales are welcome to join in and learn especially on the large beer festivals.
- Compile weekly short reports based on customer liaison and sales.
- Monthly report, keep an up to date database of customers and potential customers, leads and sales funnels.
- Develop a communication strategy with clients and customers.
- Implement specific weekly delivery schedules based on areas and customers locations.
- Build brand and sales volumes through the implementation of company standards and strategies for sales.
- Monitor stock levels and provide operations feedback on stock forecasts and requirements.
- Achieve targets and goals.
**Requirements**:
- Strong sales skills and experience a must.
- Sound communication skills and the ability to read, write and speak English.
- Ability to operate independently.
- Must be self-motivated, innovative and self-driven.
- Own reliable vehicle.
- Experience within the liquor trade will be an advantage.
