Regional Account Manager

Responsible for the delivery of site service maintenance and supply of orders to the consumer. Focus on the quality of the product and the service maintenance provided to the customer. Perform in-house / on-site training with quality inspectors, site supervisors, inspectors and assistant inspectors. Maintain and verify the quality of the product and service maintenance via site visits. Assist as point of contact for service requests, coordinating repairs, maintenance and training.
Responsibility to create, maintain and enhance client relationships. Ensure that the reputable excellence of high-quality service and support is maintained and enhanced.
Experience and Knowledge
- Managerial skills.
- Computer literate.
- Knowledge of the Mine Worker’s Health and Safety Act.
- Knowledge of customers’ procedures and policies.
- Knowledge of the “OSH” (Occupational Health and Safety) Act.
- Knowledge of “SANS” and “ISO” procedures.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an equivalent role, preferably in a mining or manufacturing environment with technical background.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the management of staff.
- Demonstrable team leadership and developmental experience, with particular regard to the utilization of delegation skills, to enhance the development of subordinate staff.
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to prepare and present professional reports, proposals and communicate in written and oral form.
- Background in lubrication or bearing advantages.
- Ability to think through and solve problems methodically.
- High degree of personal integrity and professionalism.
