Regional Operations Manager

**Purpose of the Job**
- The Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for the management and development of all clubs within the Regional Operations Manager’s region.
- It is crucial that the Regional Operations Manager develop the teams and cultures within each club in order to attain, maintain and surpass expectations and requirements.
**Key Performance Areas include**:
**Support**
- Provide continual and effective support to all clubs within your region.
- Assist and enable clubs to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Ensure clubs maintain brand standards
- Ensure clubs continually complete maintenance as per requirements
- Ensure access is controlled in reception
- Ensure all contracts are compliant
- Ensure Health and safety is maintained within clubs
- Conduct weekly meetings with all Club Managers
**Strategy**
- Review the strategies used within each club to ensure maximised profits
- Advise on Retention strategies for members
- Pro-actively identify potential areas of risk and strategize against this.
- Assist and advise on the creation and implementation of marketing strategies.
- Review and advice on policies, procedures and practises that will assist clubs.
- Ensure Club Manager manage effectively and use their working days effectively.
- Manage and meet all requirements as per your Dashboard
- Manage and evaluate net member movement in order to ensure positive growth
- Evaluate all the New Member surveys and any other member satisfaction survey.
**People & Development**
- Assist and encourage continual development of all staff
- Formulate strategies and solution to ensure staff retention.
- Enable all staff to achieve targets through encouragement and support
- Assist and ensure staff vacancies are filled timeously
- Ensure that staffing does not present risk to the business
- Assist in ensuring that discipline is maintained in all clubs
- Maintain and encourage team spirit and a positive club atmosphere
**Systems & Process**
- Suggest and implement cost effective improvements that will enhance Profit and Loss.
- Use the available tools and systems in order to ensure your region is as efficient as possible.
- Manage change and ensure fluid movement between developments.
- Adhere to and enforce Human Resource practises and procedures throughout.
- Encourage the use of all processes and systems.
**Experience & Competencies Required**:

- Possess a strong track record of people development
- A strategic and commercial growth mindset
- You must have a flair for developing high performing teams and will be able to balance strong people skills whilst positively impacting commercial results of your facility
- You will act as an agent for change, positively bringing out the best in others and will demonstrate a highly flexible style and approach
- Tenacity, high integrity and accountability with a desire to do the right thing to a high standard are a must
- Able to work at peak times (including evenings and weekends) essential
- Have reliable transport
Ability to commute/relocate:
