**Job Summary**:
The Courier Regional Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple courier hubs within a designated region (Port Elizabeth, George, East London and Mthatha) ensuring operational efficiency, service quality, and compliance with company standards. This role involves managing hub managers, optimizing regional logistics, implementing strategic initiatives, and driving performance improvements across all courier operations in the region.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the operations of multiple courier hubs within the region, ensuring seamless parcel processing, dispatch, and delivery.
- Supervise and mentor Hub Managers, ensuring alignment with company goals and operational standards.
- Monitor regional performance metrics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement continuous improvements.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments while meeting or exceeding service level agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations across all hubs.
- Collaborate with logistics teams, transportation providers, and external partners to optimize regional distribution networks.
- Handle escalated customer service issues and ensure resolution in a timely manner.
- Manage regional budgets, cost control measures, and drive financial efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve operational effectiveness and scalability.
- Prepare reports and provide insights to senior leadership on regional performance.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Extensive experience in logistics, courier services, or a related role, with prior regional management experience.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics software and tracking systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of regional transportation networks and distribution logistics.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in managing e-commerce logistics or express delivery services.
- Expertise in fleet management and route optimization.
