The purpose of the role is to ensure reliable operations and administrative support function for the Sales Consultants and Portfolio Managers so that they may prioritise the achievement of sales targets. This role is responsible for the management and control of all internal operations and administrative related functions within the Sales Division.

The Manager designs efficient workflow structures, incorporating internal standard operating procedures (SOPs), sound risk management practices, internal standards of quality and service excellence, as well as agreed turn-around times, and accordingly assigns duties to sales operational / administrative support personnel
Checking new commercial business against client instruction, department SOPs and agreed Treaty Limits
Activating new Commercial Insurance policies
Oversight of all Personal Lines sales administrative functions
Management of unpaid premiums, cancellations, reissue, wording, and annexure reports for Commercial
Providing guidance and expertise to staff and fellow sales managers
Monthly sales statistics (new sales -all products, and commission reports)
Quality Assurance Audit reports
Department efficiencies, including system development/ enhancement projects
Employee management
Reports directly to the Head of Sales and Marketing
You will oversee 12 subordinates
Experience dealing with Brokers, including brokers with Binder / Outsource Agreements
Knowledge and understanding of current market trends within the industry, external factors that could impact the business, as well as a sound understanding of competitor product offerings
Ability to analyse problems / opportunities and information in a logical and structured manager, and make sound decisions even in the face of ambiguity
