The work is voluminous, there is a lot to do and we’re looking for someone that is capable of motivating themself and being focused and being able to work well independently.

**What you’ll be doing**

You will report directly to the Financial Manager in a very fast paced environment. The turnover is approximately 300 million per annum and this is a very hands on role. There will be complex spreadsheets you will be required to work on relating to commission for example.

You’ll be required to work late one Friday (stock take) in a quarter and half day Saturday.

You will take responsibility for preparing monthly analysis on sales/margin/profit/expenses/age analysis, prepare reports, calculate commissions, prepare balance sheet recons, audit files, stock recon, tax, VAT, intercompany journals and loans, fixed assets, cashflow forecast and review payroll. The company imports and exports so you will be responsible for checking USD statements and review GRN calculations amongst other duties.

Our client is an established national group of manufacturing and distribution companies that have a family orientated type environment. They work hard and are passionate about their business.

**What you’ll need**

To be an experienced Accountant with around 5 to 10 years experience minimum with advanced Excel skills (not just pivot tables, vlook ups but also be able to put formulas together). You need to have some sort of financial tertiary qualification (completed).

We need someone that works methodically and can handle a large volume (turnover is 300 million approximately) and variety of work in a pressurized manufacturing environment.

You will need to have excellent attention to detail and be assertive in nature. Reliability and stability are key factors when looking for the right person.
