**Requirements**:

- Post Grade 12 qualification or required experience
- A strong construction/corrosion protection background
- 5 years Technical Service experience
- A minimum of 2 years Management or Supervisor experience
- Experience in dealing with all levels of authority within a business

**Job Description**:
**Technical Support**
- Involvement in the review of technical literature such as Product Data Sheets, project specifications, or others for accuracy and completeness that are related to the use of all company products
- Provide in writing a monthly report on major projects, problems, activities and other related items that Tech Service personnel have participated in
- Visit job sites to determine cause of reported problems related to company products and remedial action required and assist in training of new personnel in proper field procedures
- Participate in Total Quality and ERP process

**Sales**
- To ensure that effective and controlled support is provided to customers and to the Sales Representatives
- On request or on own imitative, inspections are held on site to ensure that the products being applied are as per specification
- Sample panels are applied as per specification, which are used as a reference panel in all future claims
- Technical advice or recommendations are provided to representatives; contractors and the clients on various sites or telephonically
- Both dry sample packs and actual on-site sample panels are provided for contracts where required
- When required, a sample quality control programme is provided
- Sales meetings are attended when required in order to gather and relay on information
- Sales staff is assisted with customer presentations when technical or practical demonstrations are required

**Administration**
- To ensure that accurate records are available on each project being monitored
- A timeous and accurate Technical Service Report is completed as and when required
- A detailed Quality Control Report is kept on specific identified projects and is made available to the Sales Executive or Technical Sales Executive should a claim arise
- Ensure together with the Regional Sales Managers, that Technical Representatives are being effectively utilized and that they complete their required QC forms regularly and correctly
