**Core Description**:
To install, recover and supervise the installation of a high quality Switching, Transmission, Radio/Microwave DC Power or Telematics installation independently, across the entire range in order to enable our customers to communicate effectively.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Recovered Equipment:
Verify accuracy of Executable file, Obtain relevant Ref's, Verify decommissioning of equipment has taken place, Procure equipment, Conduct pre-recovery site inspection, Perform pre-decommissioning functional quality test, Decommission equipment, Arrange for quality assurance

2. Commissioned/ Functionally Tested Equipment:
Verify accuracy of executable file, Obtain relevant Ref's, Perform functional test, Perform pre-quality check, Complete all relevant documentation, Arrange for quality assurance and acceptance

3. Supervised Service Provider:
Verify accuracy of Executable file, Obtain relevant Ref's, Procure equipment and material, Conduct site meeting, Conduct site visits, Conduct final pre-quality check

4.Installed Equipment:
Compile and update all relevant documentation, Verify accuracy of Executable file, Obtain relevant Ref's, Procure equipment, Conduct detailed pre-build site inspection, Install equipment, Perform static quality test, Perform commissioning/ functional testing, Arrange for quality assurance

**Required Certification**:
None

**Qualifications**:
Grade 12 and relevant A,B,C or modular courses (NQF level 4)

**Experience**:
2 Years relevant experience

**Special Requirements**:
Valid driver's license

Be prepared to work overtime

Be prepared to work away from home for short periods of time (rural sections)

Must not be colour blind

Not afraid of heights

Available to work after hours.

**Comments**:
Contract Rep / ILO experience would be advantageous. Knowledge and working experience of BPM, MET, PST, Servact, EWaps, Webforce would be an added advantage.
