Job Description: TRAVEL AGENT We are seeking an experienced and professional Travel Agent to join a prestigious travel group operating within the luxury market. As a Travel Agent, you will be responsible for designing and selling bespoke travel experiences to our high-end clientele. You will be working closely with our clients to understand their needs and preferences. Throughout the entire client journey, you need to provide them with exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for building relationships with suppliers to ensure that we can offer our clients exclusive and unique experiences. **Key Responsibilities**: - Design and sell customized luxury travel experiences to high-end clients. - Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their preferences and needs, and provide exceptional customer service. - Identify and recommend exclusive destinations, luxury hotels, restaurants, and activities that align with the clients' interests and preferences. - Negotiate rates and secure reservations for flights, transfers, hotels, activities, and other travel-related services. - Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the seamless delivery of the travel experience and to obtain exclusive benefits and amenities for our clients. - Manage travel documentation, including visas, passports, and other required travel documents. - Manage travel databases, CRM's (e.g. MS Excel spreadsheets, Zoho CRM system, etc.). - Keep up-to-date with the latest travel trends, destinations, and products. - Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals. - Collaborate with team members to ensure a high level of customer service and to share knowledge and best practices. - Assist clients with changes to any element of their travel experience, ensuring our solutions are as seamless as possible. - Provide post-travel support to clients as needed. **Key Performance Indicators for this Role**: - **Sales Revenue**: This is the primary KPI for a travel agent, as it measures the total revenue generated from sales of luxury travel packages to clients. - **Sales Conversion Rate**: This KPI measures the percentage of clients who book a travel package after initial consultation with the travel agent. - **Customer Satisfaction**: This KPI measures the level of satisfaction of clients who have booked travel packages with the travel group. This can be measured through post-travel surveys, reviews, and feedback. - **Repeat Business**: This KPI measures the percentage of clients who book travel packages with the travel agency again after their initial booking. - **Upsell/Cross-sell Rate**: This KPI measures the percentage of clients who upgrade their travel package or add additional services after their initial booking. - **Average Booking Value**: This KPI measures the average value of travel packages booked by clients. - **Lead Time**: This KPI measures the time it takes from the initial consultation to the booking of a travel package. - **Response Time**: This KPI measures the time it takes for the travel agent to respond to client inquiries and requests. - **Referral Rate**: This KPI measures the percentage of new clients who are referred by existing clients. - **Cost per Acquisition**: This KPI measures the cost of acquiring a new client for the travel group. **Qualifications & Experience** - Matric Certificate. - Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, or related field (preferred). - Proficiency in Microsoft Office. - Proficiency and experience working on CRM systems (preferably Zoho). - Knowledge of travel regulations and visa requirements. - Proficient in globally-recognised travel agency programs such as Galileo and Amadeus. - Proven experience as a Luxury Travel Agent or similar role, with a strong track record of designing and selling luxury travel experiences. - Excellent knowledge of luxury travel products, destinations, and experiences. **Skills** - Sales skills. - Ability to multitask. - Attentive to detail. - Problem solving skills. - Communication skills. - Time management skills. - Customer service expertise. - Database management skills. - Knowledge of Travel Regulations. - Key Client Account Management. - Strong understanding of Travel Booking Systems. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong understanding of CRM systems (preferably Zoho). - Sales-driven mindset and ability to meet and exceed targets. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. **The "Nitty-Gritty"**: - Contract Type: Full Time Employment - Hybrid: Camps Bay Office - Working Hours: 9 hrs / day, 09:00 - 18:00 - Daily Lunch Break: 1 hour - Remuneration: R10,000.00 - R13,000.00 per month base salary - Potential commission opportunity related to the above-mentioned KPI's **Perks and Benefits** - Paid Holidays (South African Public Holidays) - Paid Sick Leave - Paid Vacation Leave - If you are passionate about travel, have
