The Bursary Administrator is an existent role within the Bursary team to provide administrative support to the Bursary team and bursars.
- The successful applicant should have considerable administrative and financial experience, excellent computer skills, especially in word processing and spreadsheets. Excellent interpersonal qualities and sense of humour are needed for this important new role. The ability to work on your own initiative and under pressure, is essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- The successful applicant will be required to carry out the following duties:

- Day to day administration process through the Bursary system
- Update of Bursary system information and details
- Liaison with institutions
- Preparation of audit files
- Preparing and verifying payment schedules
- Review and verification of invoices, fee statements and results
- Handling general queries for the Bursary
- Provide cover for Bursary staff as required during absences
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- 3 years’ experience in Bursary or Administration work.
- The ability to work on their own initiative
- Excellent IT skills across the MS Office Suite in particular Excel
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Awareness of the importance of data security and confidentiality
- Fast learner
