Retail Leasing Manager

Do you know everything about SA Retail and can lease a high LSM Shopping Centre in your sleep? Our client is a leading SA Landlord with a dynamic portfolio of mixed-use precincts both locally & internationally, including diverse retail and commercial office space with a unique tenant mix.
As the heartbeat of bespoke urban retail in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg, the focus of this role will require you to connect with national & independent retailers at a Head Office level, as well as 'mom & pop' stores in a trendy Regional Mall environment. Commercial/Office properties fall under this portfolio and will require your leasing input to ensure the continued tenant mix of blue-chip corporate clients.
Understanding trade densities, measuring tenant performance and turnover calculations will not only be second nature to you, but it will also form the backbone of a successful leasing strategy. Presentations to clients, weekly/monthly reporting to Centre Management and Head Office will be second nature, and you will be comfortable to negotiate with senior Decision Makers from both Retail and Commercial environments.
B.Degree or similar related Property Qualification
5+ Years working experience in a dynamic, high LSM Retail Leasing environment.
Proven track record in successful deal negotiation with leading national & independent SA retailers.
Strong business acumen and attention to detail essential
Knowledge and experience in Commercial leasing is advantageous
MDA exposure would be beneficial
