**Job Purpose**:
Responsible for planning, implementing and reporting on facilities maintenance at MMS and five
other Municipal Stadia.

**Key Responsibility Areas**:

- Co-ordinates tasks/activities associated with the implementation of procedures and monitoring
and reporting on sequences/outcomes.
- Monitors and evaluates progress with regards to repair, construction, installation and
maintenance type work.
- Co-ordinates and controls tasks/activities associated with controlling personnel performance,
productivity and discipline.
- Performs specific administrative tasks/activities associated with the updating and maintaining
records/information related to the activities/operations at the facility.
- Provide input into the compilation of the operating and capital budgets.

**Special Conditions**:
May be required to work in all weather conditions.
May be required to work outside normal working hours during emergencies and planned overtime.
May be required to be on standby.
The execution of any function as delegated by the Head of Department or immediate manager in
terms of powers indicated in the relevant legislation and related to the functions of the post.

**Physical Requirements**:
Good Health.
Physically fit and able to work at heights.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Relevant Trade Certificate
- Valid motor vehicle drivers licence (Code EB)
- 5 Years relevant experience.
