Production Superintendent

Manage all production, engineering and related activities including ISO;Ensure all breakdowns are attended to immediately and maintenance of the plant is done regularly;Rectify and repair all emergency breakdowns as soon as possible to eliminate loss of production;Adhere to the maintenance schedule system;Monitor the performance of subordinates and ensure targets are met;Draft weekly production planning and adjust where necessary to accommodate customer orders;Ensure that the raw materials required are enough for the planned production;Manage and facilitate purchase orders for local suppliers;Conduct cycle counts and stocktake and ensure that there are no variances;Monitor manufacturing expenses in line with the budget;Ensure that the plant is shut down and all equipment is switched off after daily production;Comply with the requirements of the Quality Management System (QMS);Contribute to a healthy and inclusive work environment within the division and team;Adhere to all Health & Safety standards in the factoryRequirements:Grade 12 or equivalentMinimum 3 years experience in a production environmentExperience as a Millwright in a manufacturing environmentIn-depth electrical and mechanical experience in productionWorking knowledge of an operational batching plant with related equipment & machinery
