As a technical communications manager at Entersekt, you will be responsible for setting and executing the technical documentation and product training strategy for the organization. You will be responsible for the full documentation and product training lifecycle of all products in our product portfolio. You will create engaging and effective product documentation for internal and external consumption.

**The Role**

Leading the technical communications team, you will work closely with various development teams to ensure that our software ships with clear and accurate technical documentation and training materials. You will work with diverse departments including Customer Success, Delivery, and Marketing to ensure that technical documentation and training meets client needs. You will take ownership of our documentation and training portals and ensure that they are updated with each release of our software, and that they continue to evolve as the industry does. You are able to clearly articulate the value that our documentation and training brings to external stakeholders and clients.

**Responsibilities**
- Guide internal stakeholders on documentation and training solutioning.
- Improve the information architecture of technical documentation and training materials.
- Lead and mentor team members to galvanize technical and personal improvement and development.
- Maintain and continuously improve our documentation and training portals, including layout, design, user experience, and build processes.
- Lead the improvement of team processes and style guides.
- Identify and address content gaps and assess incoming suggestions and corrections.
- Improve Entersekt's information model and ensure that documentation and training created fits into the model.
- Analyze developments in our software in order to determine the need for new or updated documentation and training material.
- Review technical material written by other stakeholders and suggest improvements.
- Create diagrams and videos to support the technical content.

**Skills and Experience**
- 4+ years of experience managing a team.
- 8+ years of experience independently driving technical documentation projects and authoring tools.
- Experience organizing content in a logical flow and implementing training best practices.
- Experience partnering with engineering leadership to establish priorities and strategy and communicate regular updates on documentation initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience releasing major product documentation and training deliverables.
- A technical or business degree or equivalent experience in a documentation and training discipline.
- Experience using Markdown, static site generators, documentation-as-code, Adobe Captivate, and Moodle.
- An understanding of Agile practices and information management.
- Experience using task-tracking software, such as Jira, and wikis, such as Confluence.
- Experience producing SDK and API documentation and training materials.
