MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Tertiary qualification in Agriculture (Degree or Diploma).Minimum 8 years experience in fruit industry and farmingFresh product knowledge (Included but not limited: Table grape, citrus, blueberry, tomatoes, peppers, and onion)Understanding the dynamics and interaction of fruit production, packaging, supply chain and marketingKnowledge of Paltrack, Dipar or QX system will be advantageous. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED Fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans)Excellent inter-personal skills with a proven ability to build, nurture and maintain relationships with growers, suppliers, receivers and internal staffStrong administrative and time management skillsAn in-depth and detailed knowledge of the industry, how it operates, the products and the personalitiesGood computer skills (MS Office, Office 365 Outlook, Excel, and pivot tablesComfortable working over multi-cultural boundariesA naturally gifted communicator in verbal and the written wordAbility to multitaskStrong analytical ability and attention to detailProactive and energeticTeam playerDisciplined and focusedAbility to work under pressure within time constraintsWilling to complete a task which require additional time.
