We are looking for an experienced People Operations Specialist to join our People & Culture team for a 3-6 month period.
Reporting to the People Operations Manager, during this time you will focus on system configurations, policy reviews and enhancements, and ensuring we are compliant in each of our hubs (South Africa, Egypt and the Netherlands).
This role is integral to ensuring that our policies, frameworks and processes support and enable us to bring the Yoco employee experience to life.
**ROLE | WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?**
**Key responsibilities**:
- System configuration; Ensuring benefits across all of our markets are captured on our HRIS as well as mapping data and ensuring accuracy across all of our tools
- Implementing systems, solutions and processes that support the ongoing maintenance of data integrity
- Enhance and in some cases create policies, handbooks, guides, frameworks and playbooks that support our employee experience journey
- Conduct a review of all subsidiaries and employee allowances
- Ensure compliance in all of our hubs
**IDEAL CANDIDATE | WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
**Key requirements to perform responsibilities successfully**:
- You have previous experience in an HR operations role and are familiar with HR tools and systems. Experience working with BambooHR would be an advantage
- You are analytical with a metrics-driven approach to talent solutions and have the ability to leverage people analytics and insights to create compelling narratives for change to gain sponsorship.
- You are able to bring the employee experience journey to life through innovative programs, policies and frameworks
- You have effective and influential communication skills with the ability to tailor communication style as needed
- Team-oriented builder who understands how to achieve buy-in from diverse constituencies builds bridges and designs “win-win” solutions across a matrix management organisation
- You are excited about helping us to further develop our People Operations practices while sharing our passion to keep things simple in design, light on the process and high on impact.
- You are a strong collaborator and an agent for change in a rapidly evolving business
