A leading global customer experience organisation is seeking a People and Culture Consultant to join its team in Cape Town. This Individual Contributor role offers the chance to partner closely with business leaders in a fast-paced BPO environment and make a tangible impact on people strategy, engagement, and compliance.

What you'll do:

  • Act as a strategic HR partner, aligning people priorities with business goals across South African operations.
  • Lead employee relations, providing guidance on disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters while ensuring compliance with local employment legislation.
  • Manage sensitive ER cases in collaboration with Legal and HR teams and represent the company in CCMA-related matters when required.
  • Support and advise managers through organisational change and transformation projects.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance employee experience, inclusion, and culture across diverse hybrid teams.
  • Lead the delivery of HR programs including performance management, talent reviews, and engagement initiatives.

What you'll bring:

  • Degree and 5+ years in HR leadership, business partnering, or people operations roles.
  • Solid understanding of South African labor law and experience managing complex ER cases.
  • Strong relationship-building, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Experience within a BPO or GBS fast-paced operational environment is absolutely essential for this role, applications without this experience will not be progressed.

Salary ZAR 850,000-950,000 plus benefits
