**CNC OPERATOR /SETTER**

**DESCRIPTION**:
The Operator / Setter will be responsible for the manufacturing of components in the CNC machine shop.

**THE INCUMBENTS’ PRIMARY DUTIES WILL BE TO**:
**General: (but not limited to the following)**
- Read and comprehend technical drawings.
- Operating and setting of CNC milling and turning machines.
- Accurate measurement of components.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Good manual skills, accuracy, and precision.
- Physically capable of performing primary duties.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Experience in using basic hand tools.
- Contactable references.
- Previous CNC/Setter experience.
- Must be able to work shifts.
- Knowledge on the use of Verniers, Micrometres and other measuring equipment.
- Must have basic material knowledge.

**EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION**:

- Grade 10 -12

**EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION THAT WOULD BE HIGHLY ADVANTAGEOUS**:

- Experience with Fanuc Controls.
