**NOV South Africa is seeking a qualified Temp CNC Turner. In this role you will be responsible for the manufacture of components / parts to required specifications and quality standards in accordance with drawings, sketches and or verbal instructions by operating a CNC Lathe and/or Conventional Lathe.**

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Read and understand drawings.
- Ensure correct drawing used for specific job.
- Loading CNC lathe or manual lathe by either using an overhead crane or doing it manually.
- Ensure correct material usage.
- Programming of CNC Lathe.
- Clocking up the job in the machine
- Ensure that work details, instructions and steps are followed as required.
- Load and downloading of approved programmes to and from designated computer.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Technical Grade 12 (N3); Qualified Turner Machinist.

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a heavy engineering environment.
- Must be familiar with Fanuc, Mazak and Siemens controls. Milling background would also be an advantage.

**SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**:

- Read and understand drawings.
