Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Port Elizabeth for a RedSeal CNC Machine Programmer specializing in Fusion CAM for mechanical applications. The day-to-day tasks include programming CNC machines using Fusion CAM software, setting up and operating CNC machinery, reading and interpreting technical drawings, ensuring precise and accurate machining of parts, and performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment. The role also involves collaborating with engineers to improve manufacturing processes and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming CNC machines using Fusion CAM
• Experience with setting up and operating CNC machinery
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Skills in performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Relevant certifications or a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is a plus
