**Responsibilities**:

- **Operations Management**: Oversee all aspects of lodge operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and security.
- **Guest Experience**: Ensure that guests receive exceptional service throughout their stay, from arrival to departure, and address any concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
- **Conservation Leadership**: Develop and implement conservation initiatives to preserve and protect the reserve's natural habitat and wildlife.
- **Staff Management**: Recruit, train, and manage a team of staff, including guides, rangers, and hospitality personnel, to deliver high-quality services and experiences.
- **Financial Management**: Prepare and manage budgets, control costs, and optimize revenue streams to ensure the financial success of the reserve.
- **Marketing and Promotion**: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies to attract guests and promote the reserve's unique offerings.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards to provide a safe environment for guests, staff, and wildlife.
- **Community Engagement**: Build positive relationships with local communities and stakeholders, contributing to social development initiatives and promoting responsible tourism practices.
- **Environmental Stewardship**: Monitor and assess the environmental impact of reserve activities, implementing sustainable practices and minimizing ecological footprint.
- **Emergency Response**: Develop and maintain emergency response protocols, including evacuation procedures and crisis management plans, to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management role within a 5-star lodge or luxury hospitality environment.
- Passion for wildlife conservation and sustainable tourism practices.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with guests, staff, and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, analyze financial data, and drive revenue growth.
- Knowledge of South African wildlife, flora, and fauna, with experience in safari guiding preferred.
- First Aid and Firearm Competency Certificates
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
