Group Marketing Assistant

**Job Purpose**
To assist in planning campaigns, developing and implementation of approved marketing strategies for the four divisions within the Group. Essential to the marketing department’s successful day-to-day operation and the achievement of its objectives, additionally for the company’s long-term growth.
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- At least 5 years’ proven experience as a marketing assistant.
- Good understanding of office management and marketing principles.
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
- Well organized with a customer-oriented approach.
- Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases.
- Familiarity with design tools and software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, would be beneficial.
- Good communication and people skills
**Roles and Responsibilities**
**Strategic Planning**
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans in alignment with the company’s objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and potential areas of growth.
- Analyses of the competitive landscape and market conditions to adjust strategies accordingly.
**Campaign Management**
- Plan, execute, and oversee marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, traditional, social media,etc.).
- Set campaign objectives, budgets, and timelines.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed for optimal results.
**Brand management**
- Develop and maintain a strong brand identity and positioning.
- Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing channels.
- Monitor brand perception and implement strategies to enhance it.
**Product Launches**
- Coordinate and execute product launches, including developing marketing plans, creating promotional materials, and organizing launch events.
**Budget Management**
- Allocate and oversee the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Monitor expenses and return on investment (ROI) for marketing activities.
**Market Analysis**
- Stay informed about industry trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities and potential challenges.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**
- Collaborate with departments such as sales, product development, and finance to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand market needs and optimize marketing strategies.
**Digital Marketing**
- Utilize digital analytics to measure and optimize online campaign performance.
**Marketing Administration**
- Assist with the creation of purchase orders, supplier onboarding documents, and budget tracking.
**Public Relations**
- Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets and influencers.
- Handle public relations efforts to enhance the company’s public image.
**Event Management**
- Plan and execute events, trade shows, and sponsorships to promote the brand and products.
**Metrics and Reporting**
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Use data and analytics to drive decision-making and improve future strategies.
**Compliance**
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with the relevant laws and regulations and improve marketing strategies.
**Innovations and Adaptation**
- Stay abreast of industry innovations and emerging marketing trends.
- Adapt marketing strategies to changes in the market and consumer behavior.
