INTERNAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE

PRIMARY

First Cut (Pty) Ltd is seeking a self-motivated Internal Sales Representative to join our dynamic team at our JHB branch (head office). This person will be responsible for internal sales, liaising with customers, production team and external sales team to ensure customer satisfaction.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow up on back orders and ensure all back orders are valid.
- Advise customers of back-order progress and accurate eta.
- Creating and maintaining a data base of current and potential customers.
- Upselling of products and services.
- Communication between production/ stores and sales.
- Revert to customers on product availability. Assist with key accounts.
- Communication between sales and procurement.
- Advise procurement of urgent back orders to be “special” shipments.
- Close tele-sales enquiries/orders and achieving sales targets set out.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
- Tertiary education will be an advantage.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience of administration within sales.
- Must be able to influence, negotiate, and communicate with customers.
- Ability to identify customer needs, solve problems, and provide solutions.
- Computer use competency.

OTHER SKILLS
- Experience working with SYSPRO is advantageous.
- Strong administration skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and people skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels, to maintain relationships and cooperation in pursuing the company’s goals.
- Aptitude to learn and understand production processes.
