Job Brief:We are looking for an enthusiastic Internal Sales Representative to contribute to generating sales for our company. You will be responsible for cold calling, closing sales deals over the phone and maintaining good customer relationships to build a network of customers throughout South Africa. Our new candidate must be an excellent communicator and have superior people skills. They must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as in person - dealing with complaints and doubts and managing customer expectations. The goal is to help the company grow by bringing in new customers and developing new business while maintaining an existing client base. About the Company:A leading global producer of premium finished leathers, specialising in upholstery for furniture and interiors, with a strong focus on quality, craftsmanship, and sustainability. Responsibilities:Contact new and potential or existing customers to inform them about our product.Answer questions about products or the company.Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales.Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed.Enter and update customer information in the database.Take and process orders in an accurate manner.Handle grievances to preserve the companys reputation.Go the "extra mile" to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales.Keep records of calls and sales on a CRM system including sales notes to update management on daily tasks. Requirements:Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role.Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. / Outlook / CRM software) and telephone systems.Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects.Excellent knowledge of English.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection.Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints.High school certificate/ University related Degree. (Nice to have)2-5 years experience in a related role.Must have own vehicle & drivers license.Must be available immediately or within one months notice from current employer.
