- A PhD in marketing management;
- Subject knowledge of the sub-discipline of digital marketing;
- Extensive lecturing experience in marketing management modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
- The ability to supervise postgraduate students;
- A record of research published in accredited scholarly journals.

**_ For Associate Professor:_**
- A PhD in marketing management;
- Subject knowledge of the sub-discipline of digital marketing;
- Extensive lecturing experience in marketing management modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
- The ability to supervise postgraduate students;
- A record of research published in accredited scholarly journals
- At least a C rating by the NRF.

**_ For Professor:_**
- A PhD in marketing management;
- Subject knowledge of the sub-discipline of digital marketing;

- An extensive record of research published in accredited, high quality international scholarly journals;

- 'n PhD in bemarkingsbestuur;

- Uitgebreide doseerervaring in bemarkingsbestuursmodules op beide voorgraadse en nagraadse vlak;
- Die vermoë om as studieleier vir nagraadse studente op te tree;
- 'n Rekord van navorsing wat in geakkrediteerde vaktydskrifte gepubliseer is;
- Minstens 'n C gradering deur die NRI.

**Vir Professor**_:_**
- 'n PhD in bemarkingsbestuur;

Daar sal van kandidate op die kortlys (diegene genooi vir 'n onderhoud) verwag word om n lesing aan te bied aan lede van die Departement Ondernemingsbestuur oor n gegewe onderwerp, en ook om voorbeelde van kursusmateriaal (insluitend eksamenvraestelle en toetse) gebruik in vorige kursusse, voor te lê.

- Practical industry experience in a marketing-related environment;
