Duties/Pligte
- Leading research and teaching in entrepreneurship for Stellenbosch Business School;
- Supporting the development of, and collaborating with, an entrepreneurship research centre at Stellenbosch University;
- Contributing to research through internationally recognised publications, collaborations and projects;
- Supervising postgraduate research at PhD-level;
- Developing and delivering academic content in entrepreneurship for postgraduate programmes;
- Participating as an academic citizen in School activities;
- Collaborating with colleagues to create transformative learning experiences in students' lives.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes

**For Senior Lecturer**:

- PhD awarded by a recognised university in a relevant field;
- Evidence of academic publications and research in entrepreneurship;
- Experience with public or private organisations, consulting activities, and/or policy;
- Experience of teaching and the scholarship of teaching relevant to entrepreneurship;
- Commitment to creating impact through research and scholarship;
- Commitment to engage in academic administration activities;
- Quantitative and qualitative evidence of teaching experience;
- Good organisational and personal management skills;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.

**For Associate Professor**:

- PhD awarded by a recognised university in a relevant field;
- A proven track record of internationally recognised academic publications and research in entrepreneurship;
- Experience and engagement with public or private organisations, consulting activities, and/or policy that demonstrate leadership and expertise;
- National and international recognition as a researcher;
- A sustained record of research and research publications in nationally and internationally recognised, peer-reviewed journals relevant to entrepreneurship;
- A record of past research and a future interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary research agenda in entrepreneurship;
- Participation in appropriate external professional activities;
- Supervision and examination at PhD and Master¿s level;
- Teaching and the scholarship of teaching relevant to entrepreneurship, with evidence of or potential for academic leadership of postgraduate programmes;
- Commitment to creating impact through research and scholarship;
- Academic management and leadership skills;
- Quantitative and qualitative evidence of teaching experience;
- Good organisational and personal management skills;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.

**For Professor**:

- PhD awarded by a recognised university in a relevant field;
- An international track record of internationally recognised academic publications and research in entrepreneurship;
- National and international recognition as a researcher;
- A strong track record and experience of engagement with public or private organisations, consulting activities, and/or policy that demonstrate leadership and expertise;
- A sustained record of research and research publications in nationally and internationally recognised, peer-reviewed journals relevant to entrepreneurship;
- A record of past research and a future interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary research agenda in entrepreneurship;
